Signs & More was founded in 2001 by Larry Foster with the vision to create superior signage by providing excellent creative solutions & over-the-top customer service. We have been serving businesses and organizations throughout Southeastern Michigan ever since then.
How We Work
Our sign building process is focused on understanding your business goals and creating a true value-based partnership. We start by getting close. We meet with you to discuss your needs, ideas and budget requirements.
Then we go to the proposed sign location and take photos. Like a Sherlock Holmes detective, we work to make sure we have all the dimensions, installation information, possible ordinances we have to deal with, and any other project particulars covered.
Then we use the information we gathered from our meeting and site review to create a custom proposal for you. We include signage options and pricing to give you the ultimate flexibility of choice allowing you to stay within your budget. We review the proposal with you so we can answer your questions and provide expert feedback.
Once you have determined the sign you would like us to build, we sign the contracts and get to work. If applicable, we check city ordinances and handle all city paperwork for you so your sign installs without causing issues with local ordinances.
We finalize the specifications for your project and we create concepts for discussion and selection. Once you chose a concept, we begin building the sign to our exact specifications.
When complete, we install it for you exactly right.

Larry has over 27 years leadership experience with a Fortune 100 global company which gives him an enormous capability to help you create the image you are trying to project. Steve, Production / Fabrication
Don’t let that serious look on his face scare you, Steve is a good guy, he’s probably just concentrating a little too hard. With years of construction experience under his belt (since 1990), he is considered trustworthy with good accountability. He has been known to say his personal Shangri-La is “Guitars and Rock N Roll baby!” He lives by the rules, “work hard & play hard. Live, love, laugh”. Steve say’s his own personal motto is “There’s a million ways to laugh, and everyone’s a path.” The guy loves quotes, what can I say?!
Mike, Production / Fabrication
Said with love, Mike is the shop’s “wise-cracking, know it all”. He has all the reason to be with years of experience servicing, building, painting and vinyling a wide variety of signs since 1994. In his home life Mike is quite the domestic, taking great pride in his yard and garden, intact with gazebo hooked up to cable TV. Mike is a member of nearly every lodge in the state of Michigan. Some people collect small ceramic cats, Mike collects social meeting clubs. Is Mike a sports nut? YES! He follows the Red Wings, Tigers, U of M football and is not ashamed to admit he supports the Detroit Lions and stands by them to this day.
